We are very grateful for funding from The National Lottery Environmental Community fund, Connected Voice Sparks fund, Monument Ward of Newcastle City Council, Greening Wingrove and The Summerhill Trust to support our Art and Biodiversity Celebration Festival 2026.

We have completed a very well recieved mini festival for 400 in Scotswood Community Gardens on Sat 16th May. Blessed be the sunshine.
We can now announce confirmation of two tremendous free Community festival days for all ages of Art, Music, dressing up, theatre, Science, Music and Community Planting. and David de la Haye giving you the opportunity to listen to your ponds. All are welcome.

Sunday7th June 2026 11am-3pm in the Bike Garden Nuns Moor NE4 5NU
Sunday14th June 11am-3pm on 2026 in Summerhill Pavilion and Gardens NE4 6EH
Sunday14th June 6.30 -10.30 The Festival final Party will be in the Summerhill Pavilion with music by Soznak and Count Ocular by Moving Parts Puppets. More details to follow

The Conference will be on Sept 26th in the Curtis auditorium of Newcastle university.
We have Professor Andrew Haines our first choice of speaker booked.
to speak on ‘From Poly crisis to Planetary health’ ( Andrew is co-author of 'Planetary health safeguarding Human Health and the Environment in the Anthropocene' (for more about Andrew see wiki )
And Dr Helen Kopinka Northumbria Dr Helen Kopnina (Assistant Professor Newcastle Business School (cv )with the draft title "Teaching the Overlap: How Shared Vulnerabilities Between Humans and Other Species Can Shift Environmental Engagement."
